Agnieszka Duda, graduated from the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Law and Administration in 1992. In 1994 she qualified as a Polish judge and in 1995 she was admitted to the Bar of Legal Advisors in Warsaw. She specializes in commercial contracts, construction and public procurement law, transformation of the commercial entities, restructuration and labor law. She is also experienced in matters related to litigation concerning inter alia the investment process. She assisted a number of international firms in setting up their presence in Poland, including investors from Spain, Netherlands and UK. She gained her professional experience in international and Polish law firms including Baker&McKenzie and Garrigues in which most recently she held partner positions. She was a lecturer on Corporate Governance Conferences organized by the Polish Institute of Directors and an author of numerous studies on transformation of commercial companies published in Monitor Prawniczy, GazetaPrawna and NaszRynekKapitaƂowy as well as on public private partnership models in monthly magazine Infrastruktura. She also served as an in house counsel in a leading construction company and as a member of supervisory board of a real estate company. She completed LLM Program in International Construction Law from the University of Vienna. She is also an arbitrator at the Arbitration Court of the National Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw. Fluent in English and Spanish.
